Award Criteria

You enter this competition as an individual household and if you save more energy than any other household in the competition then you are the Maltese winner. There will also be a second and third place winner in Malta. The outright winner will enter the European competition with the chance to win the European Energy Saver Cup.

Energetic podium outdoor version
To take part in the competition and have the chance to become the Maltese "Energy Saver of the Year", you need to enter a minimum of three energy bills and/or meter readings over the course of the competition. Readings need to be substantiated by the original energy bills and the organisers reserve the right to verify the savings claimed.
